These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Linguatile mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by Linguatile ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
Linguatile accounts are created with an email address and sign in using a one-time "magic link" sent to that address, rather than a password. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account you sign up with and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may remove or rename content that violates these Terms, including usernames, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section (see Section 7).
The Service, including its game design, tile artwork, character content, and software, is owned by Linguatile or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your own devices for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service's content except as the App itself allows during normal use.
Your account data (such as your username and gameplay progress) remains associated with your account as described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep the Service available and your progress saved, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
The current release of Linguatile is free to download and play, with no advertisements and no in-app purchases. If we introduce paid features, subscriptions, or ads in a future release, we will update these Terms and the app store listing before those changes take effect, and any purchase will be processed through the applicable app store's payment system under that store's own terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 3. You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time using the account deletion option in the App. Deleting your account is immediate and cannot be undone.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free, or that any content (including educational content) is complete or accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linguatile will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Linguatile operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
