This Privacy Policy explains what information Linguatile ("Linguatile," "we," "us," or "our") collects through the Linguatile mobile application (the "App") and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect the minimum information needed to run your account and the game:

We do not sell your personal information. Linguatile does not currently show ads or offer in-app purchases; if that changes in a future release, this policy will be updated before the change ships, and any advertising identifiers will be disclosed here and covered by your device's ad-tracking permission prompts.
We share information only as needed to run the service:
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Account and gameplay data is stored in a database we operate on cloud infrastructure, protected with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls limiting who can reach production systems. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. You can request or perform deletion of your account and associated personal data from within the App. Deleting your account removes your access immediately; some information may be retained briefly in backups or logs before it is fully purged, and we may keep minimal records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act). To exercise these rights, use the account deletion option in the App where available, or contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
The current release of Linguatile does not display third-party ads and does not use advertising identifiers. If a future release introduces ads or purchases, we will update this policy first and request any permissions required by your device (such as Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) before any tracking identifier is used.
Linguatile is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
